Telstra will launch their second Android smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, in Australia next month. In case you didn’t know, the phone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 1.6 OS, a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display, and an 8MP AutoFocus camera. Additional specs include HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Whereis Navigator, Mobile FOXTEL, Yellow Pages Mobile, a 3.5mm headset jack and BigPond Music integration. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available in Australia for free with a 2-year contract agreement of at least AU$99 per month. Telstra will also offer the smartphone free of contract for AU$1099.
